I just spent the last five days on a geology trip to Death Valley. Yes I said Death Valley and no it was not hot. This time of year the weather can be unpredictable, but for us it was fairly pleasant. It was slightly cloudy but it didn't rain until we were leaving and we ran into some snow on the way there. It was an amazing trip. There was so much to learn about this foreign land. It was always nothing more than a stereotypical desert; dry, hot and sandy. Now that foreign landscape has become a precious jewel to me. It is a beautiful place that I can't even find the words to describe. So I will show you my photos, because a picture is worth a thousand words.... which I still think is not enough
