I just spent the last five days on a geology trip to Death Valley.  Yes I said Death Valley and no it was not hot.  This time of year the weather can be unpredictable, but for us it was fairly pleasant. It was slightly cloudy but it didn't rain until we were leaving and we ran into some snow on the way there.  It was an amazing trip.  There was so much to learn about this foreign land.  It was always nothing more than a stereotypical desert; dry, hot and sandy.  Now that foreign landscape has become a precious jewel to me.  It is a beautiful place that I can't even find the words to describe.  So I will show you my photos, because a picture i

I'm back, unfortunately.  That was the most amazing trip.  It changed me, in a good way.  I've made new friends and got to know people I had only been slightly acquainted with.  So now I will have lots of what I hope are beautiful photos.  Hope you all enjoy them,

Ok I finally posted something, but it is not a photograph (yay for something different).  School's been over for a month but things have still been hectic around here (we've had lots of visitors).  I am so excited, my trip is in 7 days.  I can't wait to be out of the house and on the road with the most wonderful people.  I need to start packing tomorrow and work on my presentation that I have to give while I'm on it.  I don't think anyone realizes how excited I am about this trip... I can't wait the 7 days will not go by fast enough.  Ok enough of that so I will be gone for a few weeks with out internet service, but I will have many beautiful
